Take in the views at MacLennan Park (aka Mt Trashmore)

MacLennan Park, AKA Mount Trashmore, used to be a landfill and is now one of the city's best parks! It's got a mountain biking trail and skate park, hiking trails, off-leash dog park, an excellent tobogganing hill in winter, and a huge playground and splashpad for summer. If you make it to the top of the hill you get some pretty great views of the city.
